Technostarters

Technostarters are starting businesses that are seeking to put a technological product in the market. TU Delft is working together with the municipality of Delft to stimulate entrepreneurship in technology via the YES!Delft entrepreneurship centre. Alumni and scientists of TU Delft as well as inventors from the region who are looking to start a business are all welcome at the centre. YES!Delft provides courses, office space, access to research facilities and networks – which can be of great value in getting off to a successful start. Examples of technostarters who have taken part in the YES!Delft formula are Senz, Ampelmann, Epyon power and Taniq.

Spin-offs

TU Delft has an interesting patent portfolio and is highly active in developing new technologies and designs. TU Delft strives to maximise the value of these inventions by forming new businesses or partnerships or via outright sale or licence agreements. Examples of successful spin-offs are Resteel and Mapper Lithography
